John C. Saccenti attended Fordham University where he received his Bachelors in Education, Masters in Education and Political Science, as well as his Educational Specialist Degree. After service as an Army officer and undercover work with the FBI, Mr. Saccenti served as a teacher and administrator before working with the New Jersey Division of Criminal Justice. Before his retirement from that agency, his primary responsibility was the development of all Basic Law
Enforcement Training. His work included the design and writing of the Basic Course for Investigators,
the redesign and writing of the Basic Course for Police Officers and other major basic
and advanced law enforcement courses. Geoffrey R. Goyette Mr. Goyette He is the Bureau Chief of the Middlesex County Animal Response Team as well as a NJ Certified Emergency Manager. He is a member of the NJ State Animal Response Team (NJSART). His experience includes working as an Animal Control Officer, Animal Shelter Manager, ACO supervisor, animal cruelty investigator, and responding to several disasters. He is a certified NJ Police Training Commission instructor and teaches Animal Behavior, NJ Animal Laws, Wildlife Control, and Pet First Aid in the NJ Certified Animal Control Officer and NJ Humane Law Enforcement Officer Courses for Career Development Institute (CDI). He has completed Human Search and Rescue training and been certified as a SARTECH II. He was recognized by the United Way as a “Hometown Hero” for his volunteer work with animals and co-founded an all volunteer 501c3 animal rescue organization. His therapy dog, Belle was inducted into the New Jersey Veterinary Association Animal Hall of Fame in March 2014. Belle passed away in 2017. Prior to the preceding accomplishments, Mr. Goyette had a highly successful 40-year career as a business executive where he and the groups he managed achieved numerous national honors. He lives with a 9-year-old terrier mix named Anna who he rescued at 5 weeks of age and shares ownership of a English cream golden retriever named Oakley with his granddaughter (a college senior). |
