Michael S. Richmond

Mike Richmond has been for 47 years an attorney in New Jersey.  During that time he served 25 years as a Municipal Prosecutor in six central jersey towns.  He also served as the attorney for fire districts, and code enforcement agencies, including several health departments.  He has tried cases before all levels of courts in New Jersey. 

Several of the courts where Mike served as Prosecutor, were some of the busiest in the State.  He and his former partner are the authors, of New Jersey Municipal Court Practice , by Gann Law Books.

Mike has served on the Municipal Court Practice and Animal Law Sections of the New Jersey State Bar Association.  During that service, he was a lecturer for both sections.  He has also been active with Sustainable Jersey, working on both the Animals in the Community and Gold Level Health Sections of that organization. 

A member of the New Jersey Public Health Association and  Legal Counsel to the New Jersey Local Boards of Health Association.  He has given numerous presentations on various issues in public health, emergency preparedness, and animal cruelty.   Teaching groups consisting of police officers, animal control officers, registered environmental health specialists, health officers and board of health members, for more than 15 years.

Jeffrey C. Eyre

Jeffrey C. has more than thirty five years of experience in law enforcement, firefighting, human & animal rescue, animal welfare and cruelty investigation at the local, state and federal level. He has worked in various aspects of law enforcement including assignments as a uniformed police officer, criminal investigator, canine handler, mounted patrol officer, and evidence technician. 
As an animal cruelty investigator he has investigated several thousand cases that included companion animals, farm animals and exotics.
Jeff has deployed to responses for animals in crisis that included floods, wildfires, animal cruelty seizures and hoarding cases both within the United States and Internationally. 

He has presented training in local state and national venues on Animal Cruelty Investigation, Large Scale Animal Cases, Large Animal Cruelty Investigation, Disaster Response and Emergency Animal Sheltering including handling large and small animals under stress.  
His dog, Dually, and Jeff live and work together as partners in training, responses and investigations for the past eight years.
